no, shouldnt need to add anything. just use the boot animation installer and it will rename the file and push it to your xooms data/local folder.

i did extensive testing on this one. its an wholly created from scratch team rogue BA that i made that has worked flawlessly on my xoom.

what happened? please give details so i can source out the problem
after you downloaded the file, where did you place it? please give as much detail as possible so i can have it work for you.
i dont like releasing BAs that wont work for the device i use.

Hi I've flashed EOS nightly 114 now so might be different.

I downloaded moved to system\media rebooted and it stayed on the BA for about 5 minutes..

Want me to see if the new nightly changes anything?

you can. i would suggest putting the bootanimation.zip file in data/local, that will preserve your stock boot animation in system/media.
i dont have my xoom right now, so i cant test it for you. i'll get it back next week when i return to the US.

Just checked and don't have a data\local so I'm just about to reboot with the file renamed bootanimation.zip

EDIT: It booted I must have been a problem with nightly 110
