Kindle Fire Review

Hold up, wait, wait... the device functioned smoothly for you? No issues? Every other review I've seen talks about how choppy it is... I really want one but can't stand choppiness in the UI, of course if it's any better than the Xoom, I won't mind. Thanks for the review, especially the pics - no other review had enough!

Ours works just fine...

We got one as an xmas gift and she loves it. We have kindle 3g, and ipad 3g (and the Xoom as of today)

The fire is smooth as any of the other devices that we have. It did freeze up and wouldn't turn on today though so I had to google how to hard reset it...

For a female who wants a basic tablet for some games like wordfeud, and angry birds and web browsing along with book reading capabilities, and you just can't beat it. It's perfect for her. She would have been nice if it had 3g, but I guess she can tethering if she wants, and although I doubt shell use it like that.
