The current (4.2.1) version of DVD Catalyst 4 doesn't have a profile for the Galaxy Note 10.1 yet (the upcoming update will have it though), however, when it comes to video, it works the same as most other Android tablets.
step 1: If you have not done so already, download and install DVD Catalyst 4.
You can purchase DVD Catalyst 4 by clicking here (link), or download the free trial version by clicking here (link) The trial version converts 25% of each item.
After install of the DVD Catalyst 4 Trial or Retail version, start the application.
Here, on the right side, select the Samsung Galaxy Note profile. The specifications for video playback, such as video format, audio format, screen resolution etc, is the same for both the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Now insert your DVD.
and tap "Go" to start the conversion, and DVD Catalyst 4 will do the rest.
Once the conversion is complete, just copy the video file over to your Note using "My Computer"
Connect your Galaxy Note 10.1 to your computer with the USB cable:
and drag your video over to the memory location where you want it (internal memory is called "tablet")
If it asks you to convert your movie, tap No.
the video is already in the correct format.
After the file transfer is complete, you can watch the video using the Gallery app on your Galaxy Note 10.1
And of course the coolest feature of the Galaxy Note 10.1, split-screen.
