Nope, it did not connect to 4G at the Verizon store. At the store there were many 4G devices including an XyBoard, Galaxy Tab, and a few phone, all had great 4G status. The gal at the Verizon store set me up with a replacement that should arrive at my house in a few days. If it works I send my old one back. If it does not work, you will hear from me one more time and that's it.

Well I called Motorola Mobility Service (800-734-5870) to complain and I got the biggest run around of my life, nothing but excuses and they insist there is nothing wrong with my Xoom. That was the straw as they say.
I want to thank Grant, Astrix, and the rest of you long time Xoomers, it has been fun but I can't live with this thing anymore.

just out of curiosity do you have any battery saver or app killer on it? someone reported the same symptoms as you on the motorola board and that was the problem. they discovered it when they did a factory reset and turned it back on before sending it back to motorola. I think i mentioned this to someone else so apologies if it was you. (getting old LOL)

Nope.... and when I do a factory reset and set it up stock with no additional apps installed, it still gets no 4G. I am selling it CHEAP to a friend whose wife only wants it for the WiFi. Sorry but I love my new iPad 4G and I get Verizon 4G LTE everywhere around San Diego and Escondido. It is a bit different because I have been a long time android user, but I am getting use to it fast.

hope it works out for you. I know you have not had a great experience with yours. I have looked at that ipad as well and it looks great but I am an old school pc guy and like to be able to make mods, etc so probably wouldn't go that way.
