Questions about Team Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.2.2

    Hello,

I have a few questions about my current ROM (Team Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.2.2) that I have already asked in the appropriate ROM thread but had no reply. I'm hoping I can get some help in a dedicated thread.

    1) How do I tell my device to default to mnt/external1 for all things SD card? It seems like everything still wants to point to mnt/sdcard and I can't seem to find a way to change this default behavior. Titanium Backup for instance allows me to change my backup directory but still lists /mnt/sdcard as "external storage."

When an application gives me a choice between internal memory or SD card and I choose SC card it's not really sending it to mnt/external1. I'm confused about moving applications to my sdcard since it seems it's not actually moving them to where they should be. I should also mention that the SDcard is working fine for transferring and accessing files via USB, ASTRO, or MoboPlayer.

    2) Under Tiamat Settings there is an option for "Insert every kernel module on boot." What does this do exactly? I have mine unchecked ATM.

    Thank you.

    That's the rom I'm running.
    1. mnt/sdcard is internal storage. mnt/external1 or MicroSD are your sdcard.
    2. Not sure about that unless it insures a faster boot time.

    Thanks for the reply Grant.

I get that it's supposed to work that way. I just can't seem to make that the default behavior for all of my applications. It seems like some of them are not seeing the mnt/external1 as the SDcard location and insist on using mnt/sdcard. If that behavior is inevitable, then I have my answer. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some step I was missing to take.

On HoneyComb none of the apps should be on sdcard. They all run from internal storage.
