[OMG] Team Tiamat Xoom Rom 1.1 [ UPDATED 07/1/11 ] ( IT'S HERE!!!! )

    what is the CRT? i dont see anything. my screen just goes black whether im in portrait or landscape.

    CRT means Cathode Ray Tube, it's those old televisions and the CRT Animation is when your screen turns off like those old TV's did

    I'm reading it the same way.. I don't see anything about a 3G fix. I think that was only in the beginning of 1.0, I would imagine that was one of the first things to implement in 1.1

    ok. i know what the CRT stands for in that sense, but have never seen that animation on my xoom and ive had the 1.0 rom on for a while.

    no problem. i didnt know if CRT was standing for something else. ive just never seen the animation, thanks for clearing it up for me.

    I have it on my D1 and love it - on the Xoom I have a not so great version that is part of the "Screen Off and Lock" application.

    I may be flashing this Rom over the weekend and the true CRT is something I am looking forward to

    Don't get your hopes up. I'm still downloading (I HATE MULTIUPLOAD!!!!! ) and will be able to know soon if it was fixed after the beta, but if it wasn't, like I said it'll only work in portrait mode or randomly while in landscape.
