ics update for UK xoom users?

Is there an easy way of reverting back to the UK version if I decide I want to for whatever reason?

I can answer this myself now, having tried it.

Use the same method to get to ICS, but download and use the files you originally had for your type of Xoom.

I am now back as UK wifi and it's working fine.

So if you don't like ICS, you can revert if you want to.

Iam also curious about rooting with this tool too... has anyone tried it yet? I would like to known if routing wipes the xoom. I have just got everything set up and don't want to loose it again.

I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy phones many times and it wipes nothing on them, so I doubt it would wipe anything on the Xoom.

When I rooted my UK WiFi Xoom with universal root it wiped my device to stock.

Why would anyone want to go back from ICS!?

Hi,
I'm a complete newb here but I managed to GED my xoom using the method you described, so thank you very much for that. I got the ICS update and I love it. It seems to be quite a bit quicker and smoother than honeycombe. The only problem i'm having is that now that my xoom is effectively a US version I cant use the BBC news app, and I can no longer watch iplayer or ITV catchup, even if i go through my browser (dolphin hd). Does anyone know of a work around for this? or will I have to revert back to stock if I want to use them?
