Help i keep losing wifi connection
I have the 3g/wifi xoom. The other day my wifi started dropping the wifi signal intermittenly. I'm not sure if I have received the ics update yet. Truth be told, I'm not super tech savy. My xoom never had any trouble with the wifi. Its not just my wifi at home, but wifi everywhere. All my other devices are working fine. What can I do to fix this? I have seen threads about changing router settings, which can be done at home, but i've had these wifi problms everywhere i.e. hotels and restaurants. I can't tweak the routers there. So, there has to be a better answer than playing with my home router. Please let me have it

you dont know if you have ICS? Go to Settings, About and see what version is there. Or, just go to your app and look at the top. do you see a section for Apps and another Section for Widgets? if so, you have ICS. As for your wifi issue, you said it doesnt just happen with your home router. does it happen with routers in which you have remembered the connection too? try removing all the wifi connections from your tab and then reestablishing a connection with them. So you would go to settings, wifi, and u will see the networks that you have connected to. delete them and then reconnect.

Welcome. Yup I would start out by forgetting all the networks you've connected to and try to reconnect.
