Yeah, flash was taken off the store awhile back. You need to make a backup of the apk, here you go.

not a noobie, but also not willing to screw up big time, so i figured this was the place to get the assistance i will require. i have a rooted, wifi only, original XOOM currently running EOS 2.0. i had played around a bit with the nightlies before the release of stable 2.0, and was very happy once i went to it, like many i figured that a stable 3.0 JB might be forthcoming within a reasonable time frame from the beginning of early jelly bean, but i obviously misread that one so...................i have decided to take the shot and start using the nightlies once again to gain the advantages of JB (assuming there are any, lol). here's my "problem".safety and security of not bricking my xoom, lol. i want to insure that i have all the stuff i currently run using EOS 2.0 and don't want to lose functionality, so where do i start?? after reading and re-reading about the nightlies, i need some hand holding in the way of a step by step to insure i don't overthnk the whole deal and mess myself up someway. how far back do i need to go in order to insure i take full advantage of the nightlies up to the most current release?? i am under the impression there are size (fitment) problems and that i effectively need to wipe my xoom totally to load the nightlies correctly. if that's so, how do i insure i keep everything i already have in the way of data, pictures, apps, etc when the nightlies are loaded?? i realize there a lots of questions here, but i need a step by step if one is available with basic explanations (not high tech explanations) and i should be ok. i'm not afraid to push buttons, but i don't want to be haphazard either.
thanks for the patience of reading this and providing help and direction.
If your rooted and on eos 2 than I would say you know what your doing.
First, make a backup in your recovery, this will save you if something goes wrong. Creating a nandroid (backup) will make an exact image of your xoom the way it is including all your apps.
Since your coming from ICS a full wipe is in order. You can start with most recent nightly, there's no reason to start from the beginning of the releases.
Get the current build and gapps, place on SD card, enter recovery, make backup, do full wipe, then flash your ROM and gapps.

ok, thanks for the quick and dirty simplified instructions. greatly appreciate your taking the time to read through my lengthy question and provide some guidance. that said, can you explain how do i restore all the existing apps, etc without bringing back the original OS (EOS 2.0) at the same time from the backup (i assume that is the way i get all my apps, data, etc back).
If you just wanna save the apps for restore use Titanium Backup.
Make sure your backups are saved to your SD so they don't get wiped.
thank you, sir
Just flashed 144 afetr being gone for 12 days, working like a charm.
