    [ROM][JB] Team EOS 3 *JELLYBEAN* Nightlies - Stingray / MZ602 / US 4G ONLY

    Team EOS XOOM

    JB 4.1.1 Stingray MZ602

    NIGHTLIES

Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!

It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.

For the latest news on Team EOS Xoom releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #xoom.

NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!
    --

A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.

EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.

Team EOS Xoom Nightly builds: Nightly Build/Stingray

    G-Apps Package

    Features:
Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org

    Kernel:

Changing the Stock Motorola Dual Core Boot Logo Splash Screen:

Getting To Custom Jelly Bean From Stock HC and ICS

THIS IS JUST A GENERAL GUIDE TO MAKE IT SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND
I'M NOT RELATED TO TEAM EOS, OTHER TEAMS/DEVELOPERS OR RESCUE SQUAD
I'M JUST A GENERAL USER LIKE YOU

Hope This Little Input Will Assist On This Process

    >>>>> How Install CWM Recovery and Flash Jelly Bean <<<<<
This will wipe your device as out-of-the-box during unlock bootloader

    A. Xoom USB Driver For Your PC: Download and Install: here
Using original Xoom USB Cable that come with your Xoom is advisable

    B. Set Up Easy ADB On Your PC: Need for this process.

    1. Download the EasyADB(SDK_Tools.zip), thansk to Droid-Xer: here
    2. Extract the SDK_Tools.zip files
    3. Copy SDK_Tools folder
    4. Navigate to C: drive
    5. Paste SDK Tools folder on root of C: drive

    C. Download this recovery image(recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img) and place it in the "SDK_Tools folder" at your PC C:drive: here

    D. Download "EOS-stingray-2012-XX-XX.zip" and “Gapps”: at the above links and place it in your External SDCard (DO NOT EXTRACT THESE FILES)

    E. Once the neccessary file in place: You can start the process

Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
    Once command prompt pop up,type:

    cd C:\SDK_tools
    adb reboot bootloader
    fastboot oem unlock
    fastboot reboot

After reboot ensure your USB debugging is enable.

Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
    Once command prompt pop up,type:

    cd C:\SDK_tools
    adb reboot bootloader
    fastboot flash recovery recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img

Once you have verification on your device that this has been flashed, reboot your device by holding Volume Up + Power.
Then 3 seconds after you see the "Motorola logo", hit Volume Down.

You should now see "Android Recovery" at the top left corner.
Hit Volume Up to boot/enter into recovery.

In "Android Recovery", wipe cache, wipe factory data, go to advance and wipe dalvik cache all within the recovery.

    Once done:

Go into "install zip from sdcard" -> "Choose zip from sdcard", then select the "EOS-stingray-2012-XX-XX.zip" and then flash “Gapps” file that you had downloaded/put in External SDcard. NO reboot in between this flashing.

    Reboot and Enjoy!

If You Come From Any ICS Based/Custom ICS Rom

    A. Do Your Nandroid (Optional & Advisable)
    B. Back Up your [Apps+Apps Data] with Titanium.
    C. Full wipe (wipe cache, wipe factory data, go to advance and wipe dalvik cache all within the recovery).
    D. Flash the rom and gapps (No reboot in between this flashing).
    E. Reboot to homescreen, set up
F.Restore your Titanium Back up and enjoy

Tried this out earlier this morning. 4g not working yet. But, hey JB so soon! Noticed speed improvement and I really am looking forward to JB when team EOS smooths out this rom.
Back to nightly 101 ICS for my daily driver.

Everyone trying this make a Backup in CWM first as the 4G isn't working yet.
