Any difference between this and the EOS Stingray 140 Nightly? I'm already on 140 so if there are no additional features I would just stay put till the next nightly....

OK, really liking this, seems even faster and smoother than the Team EOS ICS rom. However, I do seem to have a couple of problems, which hopefully someone here can solve.

I can't sign in to Google Play Store or Google Talk. The other G-apps are working fine, just these two that won't sign in. Tried clearing cache and data on Google Play Store, Google Play Services, Google Services Framework and Talk, all to no avail.

Play Store just gives me a "server error, retry" message and Talk just hangs on the sign in screen.

I'm using the Gapps from this thread [gapps-jb-20120802-eos-signed.zip]

Well, Talk started working again fine after another reboot. Odd behaviour but hey, I'm not complaining. However, Play Store is still not working, same server error, retry message. Any ideas?

Lol, very strange behaviour - Play Store just started working. Odd thing is I wasn't even trying to sign in with it at the time, it just started updating Google Search and voila, it was working!

    Hey folks,
I'm on eos ics stable(so 2.0). can I just flash 3.0 or do I have to do a reset or wipe dalvik cache?
Also will I lose all my apps and settings?
    Thanks for any info.
Oh ya I have a WIFI Xoom.

You're going from ICS to Jelly Bean and if you bring any data forward you'll have problems. Its best to do a wipe like the OP says. If you have Titanium Backup you can backup up all of your apps but when restoring I wouldn't restore any of the data, especially the system data.

You don't have to do a wipe - just update. I did and it works fine, all my apps and data are still present, and apart from having to wait a bit for Play and Talk to start working properly there were no other problems. However, I'd do a nandroid backup before you do flash, just in case.

like you, i have been running EOS 2.0 without any problems. are you saying all you did was load 3.0 over 2.0 without any cache or davik wipe and it functions properly?? please clarify what you did for me.

You can but you're just asking for problems bringing ICS data to Jelly Bean. Best way is a full wipe as stated in the OP.
