    lost my external sd card!

I have a stock wifi Xoom. The system update notice came in last night, so I updated to Jelly Bean.
Now I can't access my external sd card. It shows up in settings/storage but none of my apps can see it. Neither of my file apps (Astro and ES File Explorer ) can see it. I've done the usual stuff, checked the card in my computer, unmounted and remounted it, rebooted. Still no external card (except in the storage setting).

    Anybody have any ideas?

You need to move up one level in your file manager, sdcard is now /storage/sdcard1/, if that doen't work I suggest getting File Manager HD free from the market.

In ES Explorer, in settings, make sure Up To Root is checked.

Thank you, sir. I just logged into Xoom Forums to complain about the same thing. I then decided to search before posting, like you have told others before. After reading your comments., I went up one level and sure enough, I found sdcard0 (Internal Memory) and sdcard1 (my micro SD). Woo hoo. All is good.

So many thanks for the tip.

    Cheers

yes the sd card is detected in file browser because you can redirect to it, but in apps there is no way to redirect to sdcard1 (micro sd), all apps settings are stuck on sdcard0 (internal memory) and i can't change it in almost all my apps, it's a major bug in jellybean.

and as always no luck with google search regarding this problem so i am stuck with this problem until google sort this out (if they ever do, i won't hold my breath), get your OS sorted out google.
