Animated screen transitions

We have some really cool screen transitions. When you open or close a new app or browser there's a animated screen transition. To change the speed and transition of this, go into your settings > scroll down to Developers options.



On the right side scroll up to the animated area shown here:




The lower numbers on any of the 3 will make the transitions faster. Just mess around with the 3 in different combinations to get to where you like. For that matter you can turn them off all together to get very fast screen transition(s)! There really isn't anything you can mess up. You'll see the transition as soon as you exit those settings.

thanks for that but is there a option to change the style of transition, so instead of the default one can we change it to something else instead of just increasing the speed?

You know sometimes I think I'm seeing random transitions. I've tried to see what does what. I.e. different apps different transitions, assigned to each. There was no set pattern. Which is fine. But there's gotta be a string somewhere.

Good transition examples after you set them are in your gmail app. Good place to work on transition actions. Mine are way to slow

It sure would be nice to find someplace where all these developer options are defined, so that we know what they do !!!!!
