Caught in bootloop

Got cm10.1 nightly update for xoom wifi model through goo manager. Installed zip then rebooted and am was in bootloop. Previously had cm10 installed. Went into recovery and did system wipe,cache wipe and dalvik wipe. Flashed cm10 again with gapp package, rebooted but am still caught in cm10 animation bootloop. Any suggestions or help on this problem? Am currently on JB 4.1.2. Do i now need to do a complete factory reset and start from scratch? Thanks

You are going from currrent rom which is JB 4.1.2
CM 10.1 is JB 4.2.1 So you must do a full wipe.

Seem dirty wipe not working. Do a full wipe.
If still bootloop. Copy other rom to sdcard and flash after full wipe.

I went into recovery and did a factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvik cache but DID NOT wipe system. Rebooted the system and it booted up. I did have to download my apps again but I was up and running again. I believe my problem was when I tried to flash cm10.1 on the Xoom I did not have correct gapp package and that is what caused my apps to crash and probably caused my boot loop when I went to reboot. Thank-you very much for your input! This forum is great! If anyone else is going to try to flash cm 10.1 on Xoom make sure you have gapp pack for that version of ROM. Gapps for cm 10 will not work with cm10.1.

I have an android 4 jelly bean. It is stuck in reboot cycle. I was able to get to the screen were it says that it is locked in code 0. I dont know what that means. Can anyone help me. My phone is my only means of contact.
