yes i have my tab back. they told me they had to do a software-update (but only reflashed the original 268.6 build so no real update) and thats it. they received it on monday evening and sended it back tuesday morning. so i got it back on wednesday fast, uncomplicated and best: for free

i had been in communication with moto directly for a while and explained that i was attempting to dev on it, when i bricked one of mine ( xyboard) and i made it 100% clear that it was my fault and she said if i sent mine in they would reflash it for me, and i did and i just got the email that they just sent it back so i should have mine back in a few days. so yay for cool people!

If you pay such a high price for a tablet then there should at least be a good customer and repair service... well done here moto ;-)

Lol I have two verizon branded xyboard 8.2 and didn't pay a penny for them ( won both of them thur a give-a-way contest) that a why I didn't really mind brinking one only a few days after I got it.

If your onky problem was that u flashed a recovery img for normal xoom on your tablet the all u need is the stock recovery for your tab, build number should not matter, however since u haveflash a boot img not for your device im not sure, but what u should do is find the img for your device MZ6XX and fast boot the recovery and the boot img. Clearly tell me what your tablet boots to now. And post your exact device and what u think your build numbers were before u flashed random stuff.

The Images he had flashed were the ones for mz616 build 268.6 so they wer for the same model. Dont think that flashing files for a different build will work even thou they are for same model cause thats how he got to this point.
