I'm feeling unloved.

According to Moto's webpage for the FE Xoom, a case is available, but when I check it out, it's exactly the same item# as the gel case for the regular Xoom.

The FE Xoom is .4" inches wider and .4" taller (and a little thicker) than the regular Xoom, according the Moto's spec sheets. Even if the gel case could comfortably stretch this far (it wouldn't), the buttons and speakers and so on are in different locations.

What gives? Does Motorola, of all people, not know what fits its products? Or is this shaping up to be an epically sad product roll-out? Seems like nobody in the world, except for a few bloggers, even knew about this (and you guys, of course).

I'm watching the calendar with interest as my 14-day return window rolls along.

that is funny the case is the same.especially when you consider the slight size difference it wouldnt fit.

I actually ordered a case from Amazon for my FE. It's one that is made for the original XOOM, I'll let you know how it works out. Also, it was quite the underwhelming release. The guy at BB didn't even know they had them. Then, he didn't know if he could sell it to me. Lol

just called BB and they have a case for 39.99. looks like I'm going to BB.

I just got back from BB, they ahve a nice folio case for the Family Edition that folds back. The cover folds similar to the new iPAD2 covers.

I've had the folio case for about 5 hours now and I have to say, it's not too shabby. I used my xoom FE for a work presentation and the case held it at a pretty good viewing angle. It's good quality, nothing terribly standout about it, but worth the money to protect your awesome tablet.

Also, I took the time to have a little live chat with someone at Motorola to inform them that the accessories their site links to for the FE likely won't be compatible because they're designed for the OG Xoom. Hopefully they fix that, it could really piss some people off.
