Bluetooth headset audio not working

I just got a Motorola HK100 Bluetooth headset and I'm trying to use it with my Xoom. I paired it and connected it, and the microphone works wonderfully, but the audio is still coming out of the Xoom's internal speakers.
Does anyone know how I can get this to work? The Motorola website says it is compatible with the Xoom.

I don't believe you get the audio from the headset. That would only be for phone calls. You need bluetooth headphones.

Hi. I stopped in looking for BT headphone information and the above response has me a bit confused. I'm looking for a set of headphones for my wife and was wondering if the internal speaker is automatically muted when the headphones are in use. I'm looking at BT profiles, and headphones/headsets use one of 3 possible profiles "Bluetooth headphones, especially the more advanced models, often come with a microphone and support for the Headset (HSP), Hands-Free (HFP) and Audio/Video Remote Control (AVRCP)profiles.". There is no specific profile for headphones that don't use a mic as opposed to headsets with a mic. This has me wondering why a headset (with mic) wouldn't work for audio only. From what I can see xoom uses HSP profile for headphones/headsets. There is no HFP support and AVRCP doesn't fit so it must use HSP. This being the case, for a headset (with mic) I would have thought that you would get audio but the mic would serve no function since there is no phone. Why would it not work at all if it's using the same profile as the headset? I don't even want one with a mic but it is raising more questions about BT operation than I originally had and I just want to understand. It doesn't make sense to me. Thanks.

A2DP is the profile your forgetting.

The 2 profiles the Xoom doesn't support now are (HFP) and (HDP).

ICS will include support for both.

i have a motorola s305 bluetooth stereo headset with mic, it works fine with xoom as headphones. It states it could be used with cell phones or music player
