Thanx for the info guys, I nearly went and brought a new charger but will now wait and contact Moto first
Hmm... things must have changed at moto uk. called up to 3 different operators at moto service centre and basically got the same reply they would send a pre paid envelope to return charger but would/could not replace the charger before examining it first, avarage turn around 3 weeks.

I have a xoom JZ054K. How does that relate to the model numbers MZ600, MZ601 etc.? I'm trying to order a new charger, but all say compatible with these types of model numbers. Am kinda lost. Help, please.
i have never had an isue with my chargers. mine are USA foldable prong wall 'travel' chargers though, and i actually have two of the oem originals, one is still sitting in box with dock and has never even been used
its nice to have a spare, but i doubt ill ever need it

My original wall charger just bit the dust so I simply opted for the non-speaker dock. Suits me well...........
