my xoom wall charger died, feedback on replacement

My stock xoom wall charger, the one with the long cord and flip plug, has gone bad. It appears to be a faulty (on and off) connection at the flip plug end. Its about 14 months old.

I found two options on Amazon

1- the OEM option, but if this style went bad before thinking of trying another option.

2- another style, plug doesnt flip. "Skque" Wall Charger.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

There have been numerous reports of bad chargers. I had one myself with the same problem. Verizon replaced mine and i have not had a problem since. It sounded like they had a bad batch early on so maybe buying a replacement now will be ok. I wouldnt want one without folding prongs. Too hard to store in my slim bag i carry my xoom in

Ye I would suggest buying from a legit site, yes I myself buy from EBay and would also recommend that. But if you really need a charger you can trust, head over to an official site made by Motorola

Guys... Motorola has given me 3 new chargers just talk to their support team and they will get you a new one 90% of them are nice

XBOOM..... Amazon is more legit than ebay any day

I just picked up a Xoom original replacement charging adapter, like literally just ordered it....and now i see this. smh! But i bought my xoom used and it came with a faulty aftermarket charger, so i figured i'd spend a bit more on original/oem

Thanks for the good ideas. I've only had my Xoom for about 7 months, and my charger has gone bad.
