For those that want one as a charger or just to have, NewEgg computer will have the 89445N Speaker Dock on sale today as a Shell Shocker Deal starting at 3 PM PDT for $22.99. It will be available from 3 PM PDT to 5:59 PM PDT only, so you have to hit it during that time. All of the Shell Shocker Deals are listed on the main page at the NewEgg.com website. I bought this dock from them a couple of months ago and I like mine. Just wanted to share this for any fellow Xoomies that were interested.

One bad thing about the speaker dock - you can't plug the power supply into the xoom. You have to use the dock.

I bought the plain docks just for the xoom power supplies which are all over my house

One persons junk... that's the main reason I got it, to use the connectors on the bottom to charge with.
That really small pin the charger plug goes over kinda bothers me. Speakers were a bonus and sound really nice,
much better than I expected after reading the reviews.

My concern was my case wouldn't fit or work with it.



There are two "inserts" you can slip onto the front of the speaker dock; for a cased or uncased Xoom.

I just don't use an "insert" and it fits right in, used a digital caliper just to make sure.
While it might have a tendency to tilt forward when moved, it's nothing a length of duct tape wouldn't fix :}
