I purchased a "SGP Motorola Xoom Screen Protector Steinheil Ultra Series [Ultra Fine]" about two weeks ago from Amazon. Was excited to give it a try on the Xoom as I've had great luck with Steinheil screen protectors for smartphones. Wow was I disappointed big time. After carefully following the install directions I ended up with fifty or more bubbles all over the screen that would not come out even though I worked on it for over two hours. Fortunately by purchasing through Amazon I was able to send it back for a full refund, including shipping - thank you Amazon! Now I'm really skittish about purchasing another SGP Steinheil product. I've been searching but there doesn't appear to be many, if any, good options at this point in time for Xoom screens. Can anyone suggest a product that satisfies the criteria of: a) easy to put on without bubbles; b) doesn't show fingerprints; and c) doesn't diminish the clarity and brightness of the screen?

Did you get your refund already? I didn't think they would allow a used screen protector to be sent back

Yes, after trying unsuccessfully to install it I got an RMA from Amazon, and in less than 10 days I had my refund.

I'm thinking the same thing. Keep it in a case when it's not in use, and touch it only with your fingers when it is in use, and everything will be fine.

Obviously, Amazon has absolutely no use for a used screen protector, but they have one of the most liberal return policies in existence. It's one of the reasons Amazon is often the first place I look for things I need.

Thanks for the great reviews guys... You all just convinced me I will save $25 and put nothing on the screen.. I've never had any luck with any screen protector.....My only concern is it will be mounted in my truck, it will be below the dash so I'm hoping glare won't be an issue..

I order the UltraFine through Amazon. Didn't remove the original plastic covering the screen until we got ready to apply the UltraFine. Application was a PITA, but two of us took our time, and finally got it installed. I still have about three smal bubbles near the edge (off the vieable screen), and two small bubbles near the screen center. When the system is on, the two bubbles are NOT noticeable - they are very small. The etched surface does away with screen glare (Thank GOD), hides the fingerprints, and overall is VERY acceptable. I would buy one again.
On a side note - no reflection on the screen itself, looks like they spent some $$ on the nice black folder the screen comes in.... but they could have used a SPELL and GRAMMAR checker! Geez!

I bought the Verizon 3 pack when I got my zoom, and couldn't live with the glare. Ordered a sgp ultrafine off eBay, and put it on in the bathroom with a room full of steam to eliminate any dust. I have 0 bubbles on the screen, and it took about 10 minutes to get it on right. I had sgp anti fingerprint on both my ipads before I sold them.
The glare reduction and having to wipe fingerprints off once a week instead of twice a day is worth every penny. I don't buy them to protect the screen, the glare and fingerprints are all I care about.
