    Just got my free motorola keyboard & mouse - can't get mouse to work??

    Hi all

    As part of the UK sales drive, customers who bought a Xoom in July (bought mine in late June) get a free Wireless keyboard and mouse from Motorola.
    It arrived today and has on the box - "For Motorola Atrix".

    Anyway, tried keyboard first and it paired via Bluetooth and works superb - love it! However, the mouse just pairs and won't work. It says "paired but not connected".
    Before you ask I've rebooted the xoom, removed the mouse as a device, repaired it etc but nothing works. I turned on my Linux desktop which has bluetooth and the mouse was recognised straight away and works well with that - so it isn't a mouse problem. Meanwhile I tried to pair my Desktop with my xoom and this too filed no matter what I tried.

    Clearly something odd going on here - and it seems the xoom is at fault. Any ideas?

    Yes, apparently the mouse won't work until the 3.1 update.

    Oh, thanks for that.
    Motorola - you have to love 'em don't you? They don't give UK users the update to 3.1, but to make up for poor sales and a bad press they send you some lovely hardware for free that won't work until they actually get their fingers out and get the 3.1 update done!

    Much as I dislike Microsoft, even they aren't that bad

    You have to love the irony! Mine are arriving tomorrow, nice to know the keyboard works well. I have updated my UK Xoom to 3.2, perhaps you could do the same and get the mouse hooked up as well.

    Ok, quick question for those who have it working.... How do you get the keyboard to work as it should? Mine is fine but is on US settings and I can't type the pound sign, the " and @keys are reversed. In settings, everything is set to UK. Let me guess.... will only work right after the update?

    I have the same issue with mine. Its a nice keyboard but its very annoying not knowing what button does what!! Anyone found a quick fix for this yet? Thanks

    I noticed this too but thought it was because I have the US software installed. Are you on stock UK 3.0.1?
    UK Wi-Fi Xoom. Unlocked with ICS, but not rooted

    I received my Free Blue tooth Keyboard and mouse with the July promotion, Mouse works, Keyboard does not, also fitted known good batteries but unit will not switch on very disapointed. I have been in touch with Motorola and received a reply back the following day just to tell me to get in touch with the distributer. I did this yesterday and still awaiting a reply.
