Browsers play gifs just fine. Quicpic is a pic app that plays gifs also

Actually, the gif's do not play fine on the xoom. When I purchased my xoom back on release day, I realized that it was experiencing all sorts of choppiness on websites with a few gif animation. I posted a question on a different forum looking for a resolution but the explanation I got was that it may be a bug and future updates would fix the problem. I am currently running the latest update on my xoom 4g and am still having the same problems viewing gif images. I have checked with many other xoom owners who have confirmed that they are also having problems viewing gif animations. Please see the link below for an example of the problem. I have uploaded a video of the same website, running the same gif files on my xoom and my HTC Evo 4g. You can see the obvious difference between the two.

I'm with Edgar, no gifs is the thing I hate the most about my xoom. Perhaps I have some setting wrong, but I'm usually pretty good with tech. I don't see gifs in apps or browsers.

Using both Dolphin and Opera I have been able to view gifs without any issues. Also able to save them and view them later in quickpic. No choppiness at all. And I'm talking multiple GIF images on a page at one time.
