    SixAxis and Ice Cream Sandwich

I have been using SixAxis with my PS3 controller to play Modern Combat 3 very happily but then I upgraded to ICS.

Now, everything appears to work as before except, nothing happens. I can edit and load profiles and activate the controller exactly as before but there doesn't seem to be any input. This is a little frustrating as MC3 ran fairly well but it was a little choppy. ICS seems to feel considerably snappier than Honeycomb and I hoped that MC3 would run better as well. However, I can't abide the on screen controls so, unless I get SixAxis running again, I'm not going to find out.

Have you advised/checked with the developer?

I haven't advised the developer yet. I wanted to check that I wasn't doing anything obviously stupid but if I don't get any joy here, I shall do so.

You are quite right, but my Xoom is rooted so the problem must lie elsewhere.

I read somewhere, can't for the life of me remember where, that ics was making it easier to run bluetooth devices easier. Which included gaming devices. Might want to look in your bluetooth settings. Dont hold me to it.

I have now contacted the developer and there is indeed an ICS related problem that he is currently working on. There is a beta that I shall be testing later but the developer is on the case.

If it's sorted out, I'll report back.

does that mean using controllers without root? that would be cool.
