Gallery (can the pictures path be change)
I'm not sure if this has all ready been answer, I have been searching but unable to find the answer, anyways does anyone know if there's a way to customized exactly what pictures get shown on the gallery app. I'm trying to hide all the embedded pictures that are received in emails, I mean i don't want to see every logo or whatever that gets embedded in emails this days.

Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. The stock gallery has very little customization. I suggest you check out Quick Pic, 100 times better with more customization than the gallery app.

Another option is to find out what folder your mail program is stashing images in (or any other folder you don't want visible in your Gallery) and place an empty file called .nomedia in that folder. The period in front of the name makes it a hidden file, so make sure you have enabled viewing hidden files in whatever file manager you are using. That filename is the secret code to keep the Gallery from adding the contents of that folder to it's list of viewable files - it works for pictures, videos and audio files as well.
Yeah, +1 got QuickPic, so many options and having the option to pick what folders you want to display is awesome!
