Stop reading the mp3 player the external sd card

Hi everybody:

Last night IŽd try to play music in the mp3 player that comes with the xoom, and I simply couldnŽt.

It keeps telling me that canŽt read the song, and happened with all the songs in my card.

IŽd unmount it, mount it and the same thing.

IŽd format the card and the same thing, actually, after IŽd format the card, I wrote less songs that IŽd have before, and the player keep showing me the delete songs.

IŽd download the double twist app and with that CAN play my songs.

I really like the mp3 player that comes with the xoom, can anybody help me so IŽll keep using it??.

I recently update the honeycomb system to the 4.0.3.

Same here - although I have not tired another app yet. This ticks me off, as I did the same, reformated the external SD card, etc - I did notice the external card had multiple duplicate directories - something went buggy with the update

I have same problems with one of 3 xooms in my family: multiple lost dirs, shows music albums trans from pc but won't play. I deleted all dup dirs but the album still show with the music app. Tried another music app and all erased music still shows I also cleared the app data through the setup. The other 2 xoom work fine. any suggestions on how to fix the misbehaving xoom?
