sirius xm for xoom

It's about time Sirius updated the android app... iOS has had buffering and previous tracks for months now. I almost ditched them because the service wasn't worth the constant skipping/lack of buffering (even on LTE).

That's really weird they have a tablet style/layout, but don't make it available in the Store for WiFi or 4G Xooms... Maybe they haven't tested it enough yet. Either way, I'm very glad to hear this news.

Ok I found the apk on another site and can confirm that it works on the wifi only Xoom and works beautifully. I dont know if you can post links to file sharing sites here so if anyone needs it please email me at jaihawk@gmail.com and I'll send you the file.

New Apk works fine! Music timed out about 2 hours into it and no dropouts! Full screen in landscape mood looks great in car! I am unrooted and 4g...

I think i finally got them to reduce it to $4 a month for me for two years since i have 4 radios. they actually gave it to me for free for a year after their free period expired at the begining. but I play it all the time on my xoom. not sure why they are not allowing it. seems like they could sell quite a few subscriptions that way. they claim you can already get it with a browser so they were not going to develop an app. but the browser isn't very good. And I wonder if it works for any of the tablets with their app. not sure about it but i bet there is an ipad app. I have a nice little bluetooth speaker set from Logitech that sounds fairly good and use it with that all the time. love it

Edit: actually just checked and I am paying $3 a month for it. seems worth it to me as I use it a lot on my xoom.

Yep there is an iPad app i use it everyday and i wish i had it for my Xoom because my Xoom gets better signal than my iPad where i work.

total of almost 10 hours running....1 timeout after 2 hours, i lost wifi signal 3 hours later and now 5 hours ------> no problems!

I see they have a wifi, bt small hand held radio now that looks like it uses this app but not sure about that part. but it is $320. If i needed a new radio I am still not sure i would pay that much for something that can only play music. speakers, docks etc are all extra.
