    google play store unable to download errors

    I have been getting unable to download errors on new download attempts and update attempts this week. I've tried clearing data for the google play store app and the google services framework, then rebooting - no luck. I "uninstalled updates" forcing it to reapply updates, which didn't fix the problem either. Anyone any experiencecwith this problem?

    Try downloading an app from the browser, if successful then try from the app.

    hi try this
    go to settings / accounts then delete your google account then add it again that should sort this problem for you

    Thanks, the account delete fixed the problem. Now play store doesn't recognize apps I've already paid for and/wantecme tovpay again, but at least downloads from play store work.

    Later: oops, after fixing a dumb mistake in recreating my account, all is well.

    Just in case anyone else stumbles upon this thread in the future, I thought I would add that the method I used to fix this was simply to change my password on my Google account.

    yes having same problem - can't download updates at the moment, done several soft resets. gets stuck downloading and freezes up whole xoom. so you think i should remove google account then add in again?

    First wipe data. Settings>apps->manage apps->all>Google play>wipe data. Then open the play store and.sign in again.

    i had a similar issue - but it was due to some strange cosmic power that changed my system date to 1970 or something!!! Corrected and it started working.

    may seem thick but someone suggested wiping data, in settings, then apps i can only see downloads, running and all does not say manage apps, all google play? How do I get to there cannot see from fike manager either.
