    Question about "Draw Something" app

    I downloaded the free version of the app "Draw Something". it worked for about 5 minutes then screen went black. i uninstalled and reinstalled and now it doesn't take my password. I clicked the "forgot password" and it says it has emailed me the password but no message ever comes. Actually I hadn't entered a password when i registered so I assumed it wanted my regular email password. When that didn't work is when I hit the "forgot password" button. Anyone else have trouble with this app? Have friends anxious for me to participate, but I can't.

    sometimes mine goes black too but for a minute maybe not very long. You should email the developer i would bet that would be the easiest thing to do.

    Now I Can't get around the password problem. It says enter my "game password" and I don't have one. I've entered every password I ever use and that did't work. I have hit the "Forgot Password" numerous times and it says password sent but I never get anything. Guess I'm doomed on this app.

    Not sure if it will help or now but go to menu>settings>apps>all>draw something>clear the data and cache and do a soft reboot - press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both.

    Thanks. Tried the reboot but still have the password problem. I had left feedback on the app problem and got a reply from the "robot". Among a few other things, like the program has been updated, message said that they are backed up on the password issue. Hopefully I will get an email with a password soon.

    I play this game quite a lot with friends and family on my Xoom. It has not been a problem. For a long time I just played it by using my friends etc from my Facebook account. Later on, after I bought the game, I found that under the game settings you can enter an email address and password to register the game etc to a particular email address and password. This I did and then got an email confirmation.

    Have you tried to do that or under those settings is it showing an address that it is registered to...?

    Thanks. I presently have the free version. Good idea now that you mention it. I will gladly buy the paid version and maybe that way I can put in a password and be done with this problem. I'll try that NOW.

    Well, I purchased the paid version. It did the same as the free version............asked for my email address and gave the option of entering a user name. I did that and it NEVER asked for me to enter a password. Then if I try to play it ask me for my password, which it never gave me the option of entering one. I even tried entering my user name to see if it would use that.....but no, it wouldn't. Toy
    totally frustrating.

    Under settings / accounts there are options, as you know to enter a user name and email address. I could put in whatever I wanted there. Then I got an email from them...

    members@mail.omgpop.com

    Thinking about it that email they sent contained the password. So check that your spam mail hasn't deleted that mail.
    Within the mail it states...

    Keep it in a safe place! You'll need it if you ever sign out of the app or get a new device!

    P.S. You can also change your password from the Account page inside the game!
    So to the address you used you should have that mail with, initially, their password that they wish you to use before you can change it to your own.

    I see I have a place to enter a password if I use Facebook, but I don't want to use Facebook.
    I never received an email giving me a password. The only email I received was in answer to my complain to them. See bolow:

    Didn't get your confirmation email?
    It may have went to your spam folder. If not, you may need to whitelist members@mail.omgpop.com with your email provider. Here are links with step-by-step instructions that show you how to do it for major email providers:

    You can get it reset automatically. On the OMGPOP login screen, press the "I forgot" button above the password field.
    Didn't get OMGPOP Cash from a completed offer?
    If you didn't get the Cash from the offer you completed, head back to where you found the offer, choose View Offer Status, and use the contact support button to the right of the offer to get it sorted it out with the offer provider. That's the fastest way to get your Cash!
