    Console cable and app...

    Hey everyone

    here is a question, is there a app and cable that is like the 'get console' on the ipad, i work in data storage and we are trialing the ipad with the systems to read info and commands on as a console, it would need a rj45 plug on the other end of the usb port to connect to the console port to be able to work in maintence mode etc when on site and be able to do all commands, if you type get console on web and look at the ipad version you will see what i am after.

    Is there not one person here able to answer this what about using the micro usb to a USB to RJ45 converter would this work.... Help would be appriciated..

    Well problem solved i have managed to do this with a £2.45 cable Happy Days... Full access to all my lovely terminal commands.. Over the moon i am..

    Motorola Xoom eats Apple once again and without the £70 lead and over priced software.. Android rocks..

    I am exactly the same situation. Can you share the details of what you did to get the xoom setup to use as a console?
