    Amazon App store Update

    Android: Amazon's latest update to its Appstore makes it more competitive to Google Play. Amazon Appstore now offers a new "Test Drive" feature where you can try out an app before buying it (unlike Google Play's 15-minute refund policy where you have to buy an app first).

    Test Drive, in beta, comes with Amazon Appstore for Android version 2.6.53, but, as the release notes reveal, it only works on select Android phones and for a limited selection of apps right now. Apparently, only the apps using basic touchscreen features for now work with Test Drive. (Also, I tried it on my Samsung Galaxy SII but don't have Test Drive.)

    Check if you have the latest app version by going to the app settings and look under "Version and Release Notes." If you have a compatible phone and got Test Drive working on it, let us know what you think in the comments. You can test drive apps in your browser too at Amazon.com.

    They got the test drive from amazon.com.
