not sure i would ever trust passwords etc to the cloud. i would rather have it on a onboard program or even written down on a piece of paper stored in a safe. too many possible ways for someone to get to your data in the cloud for me.

I wouldn't want to be the company responsible for it.

So I've been thinking about this. Keeping passwords safe in a file online. We ALL have bank accounts. Most of us (99.9%) have credit cards that we access & pay online and use those accounts to buy stuff. So all that stuff is safe right. Why don't these banks and credit card companies offer file storage of personal password information. You only would have to remember one password, the one to the bank. From there you can open your personal file of hundreds of passwords and account numbers. Yeah it's a little scary when you think about it but we ALL have already swallowed the blue pill and trust online banking and such so what's the difference. It would just be another service banks could offer... for free. Yeah...it's my idea and I put it out there to steal, just don't take my passwords.

I keep all my passwords encrypted on Dropbox and read them via 1Password (built in to the app) that used AES encryption and if a hacker can break that you have a pro out for your bloods as 1Password uses 128-bit keys for encryption, which means it would take millions of years for a criminal to decrypt your data using a “brute force” attack.

I use Keepass along with Drop Box. I have no worries about my passwords.
