    Weird Netflix enlarged homescreen problem

    Hi All, hope you can help me,

    I've had the Netflix app on my Xoom for 3 or 4 months now and until last week have had no problems.
    Now, all of a sudden, when I start up the app, the loading screen comes up fine but the homescreen looks as though it's zoomed in.
    The "Search" and "Browse" buttons are enlarged and the main screen, rather than showing the thumbnails, shows the corner of one super-enlarged thumbnail.
    It has made the app pretty much unusable as I can't use the search or browse functions (the pop-over that appears when the button is clicked is off-screen and can't be reached) and I can't select individual series episodes (same problem).

    I've uninstalled and tried a fresh install with no luck. Any other suggestions?

    Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. The only thing I can come up with is you might be having an issue with the compatibility zoom.



    Try a soft reboot and see if that might fix your issue, press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both.

    I am experiencing the exact problem. I have tried the rebot and even uninstal and reinstall but the screen size makes netflix unusable. Any remedy would be appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Has it worked correctly on yours in the past? Have you tried NetFlix through the browser? You might have to try a factory data reset.

    same problem here too. It's only started happening in the last few days. I've done a simulated battery pull and uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm assuming the last update to the app was dodgy. Does anyone have the last apk that worked on the Xoom? I'm going to have to turn off automatic updating. I'm on a Honeycomb UK Xoom if that makes any difference.

    Just got off the phone to Netflix support. It's a problem at their end. They're not sure if it is the app or their servers but their engineers are working on a fix.

    Im glad someone has raised this issue. im annoyed that im paying for something i cant use though.
    did they say what happened and is the problem isolated to just xoom users?

    so has any one got any further on this or are we still at the same point. Wouldn,t surprise me if its not being look into at all.
