how to use the Visual Indicator in the debug settings of browser ?

I actually wanted to debug a client-end web application on my Xoom,as it is creating some ui issues. Functionality-wise,it works fine.
I enabled the Debug settings of my xoom by hitting about:debug.
After that , i enabled the visual indicator(it looked like it might help me with UI issues.) and could see criss cross lines across my browser screen after reloading the app. Some numbers are also written across those lines.
But , i m not quite sure how to use this visual indicator.

Can anybody help me out here?

Welcome to the forum. What kind of browser are you using for this?

I assume you've tried other browsers, I.e. Dolphin, Maxthon, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera..?

Also, do you know that the operation you're requesting information about is compatible or has worked on a device as yours.

I have tried on Opera. The UI issue that i am talking about does not occur on that.
Actually, mine is a web app that we are testing on multiple devices. On IPhone, for example , it does not cause that UI issue.
So i wanted to debug ( if possible ) on the Xoom itself.
Do you have any idea about the visual indicator in the debug options that i was asked in my first post ?
