Xoom with ICS (Android 4.0.1) - Font changer

I updated my Xoom to 4.0.4. UNfortunately, Google ignores South Asian language fonts. I am trying to copy Indian telugu font to /system/font directory. How do I get RW or Admin previleges to /system directory? I tried Super User app and ES fie manager. The font file that works on 3.2 is located at http://hotfile.com/dl/142249735/52ff...alAAD.ttf.html . The font file is DroidSansRegionalAAD.ttf

Any help on step-by-step procedure for ICS is very much appreciated. I saw a couple of links for Samsumg Galaxy. But it is not working.

There should be a simple way creating a superuser/Administrator who gets privileges copying font files to the system/font directory. We have been doing this for decades. Why we make things more complex?
