Do you mean you can directly download the apk, or are you just referring to the "send to device" option?
If the latter, while certainly handy (and one of the main ways I install apps), I don't think it would be any help to people without the Play store on at least one device. If the former, how do you do this?

THat would be the "send to device" option--that's what I assumed you were referring to in the OP.
