Do you mean you can directly download the apk, or are you just referring to the "send to device" option?
If the latter, while certainly handy (and one of the main ways I install apps), I don't think it would be any help to people without the Play store on at least one device. If the former, how do you do this?

Sorry for tHe tardy reply. Been busy. If I were on my wife's Xoom or this iPad I won and came across a app I wanted to download to my Xoom. As long as I'm signed in to my account on a web browser I can direct it to DL to my Xoom.

THat would be the "send to device" option--that's what I assumed you were referring to in the OP.
