live sports on xoom??

last year i was able to use firstrow.eu in usa to watch live american football both college and pro. for whatever reason, the site no longer functions. it opens , lets me select a game, but never goes beyond that. anyone using it successfully in the u.s.?? if so how are you getting it to work??

I can't help you but I do want to THANK YOU! I had no idea this site existed. It works great on my PC and now I will be able to watch games that aren't televised in my area. If you get it figured out and working on the Xoom, please post. I'd love to be able to watch on mine as well.

glad i could help you out. you have to thank my son who turned me on to this site a few years ago, lol. i think i have it figured out and i believe it has more to do with rooting than anything else. while i haven't tested it yet with this site, i did with direct tv sunday ticket. by unrooting my xoom it worked perfectly where while rooted, it refused to work at all. i used voodoo ado which worked well to temporarily unroot and then restore rooting when you are done. i'm sure the same will work with firstrow based on the fact that they were both behaving exactly the same. (sorry for the underline. hit the button by mistake and i can't figure out how to highlight i on my xoom to un underline it, lol)

that site does still work. i used it thisafternoon on my pc. read my post above as to what i believe the tablet problems probably are. when i get a few minutes, i'll see if it behaves like the sunday ticket did. i didn't try it on my samsung galaxy s3 either, but it should if handled correctly. thanks for the site you listed.

I tried it on my Xoom (stock Wi-Fi only US) and after I select a game, it tells me that I need the download manager "ilivid". Anyone here using that?
