PS3 and Xoom

Just read in another thread post by castorshells about using the xoom to control YouTube video on the PS3. Tried it and it works like a charm! Video on my 50" and xoom control at my fingertips, and no cable! So it got me wondering, what else is anybody doing with the xoom and PS3? If anyone knows it will be this group.

I found pair option from the login or settings menus on the left of the YouTube app. The xoom side selection is right on the menu.

For those who live outside the usa , the YouTube app on PS3 is not available from a UK account. This is easy to get round. All you have to do is set up another user account with united states and a fake US address and zip code is 10032 . You don't need to put in any payment details. You can use YouTube and search 'how to get YouTube app on ps3 if you live outside usa ' for an easy video on how to do it. Any and multiple Android devices can be paired to the PS3. It took 5 minutes to set up the new user account and get it working from my Xoom.

This got me looking at my Xbox. You can download the xbox YouTube app in UK and pair an Android device exactly the same.
