Looking for app remover that can remove apps that came with the xoom

    Hey everybody,

When I was surfing the market last night, I think I saw a particular uninstall app that could get rid of apps that came with the xoom, like Cordy.

Then when I decided it would be good to have, I could not find it again.

Anybody know the name of this app, or the name of an app you use that can do this?

    Thanks, Chris.

+1. Even has a "Chuck Norris" mode to make the extra software quiver in a corner and cry for it's mommy.

Under Preferences: Chuck Norris Mode - "This allows Titanium Backup to remove 'Specially protected' apps which are usually bloatware"

I have a question. My xoom has Cordy on it, and when I go to search for it in the Marketplace, it shows there and there is an option to update it. I want to remove it, but can't. If an App is installed from the marketplace, you can remove it. My question, is, if I install the update from the marketplace, will it then allow to me to remove the program? I have googled about Cordy, and people seem to have an issue with it auto-updating even if they uncheck the auto-update in the marketplace (it forces the checkbox to always be checked for autoupdate). Right now, Cordy isn't autoupdating on my xoom, and I don't want to update it on the Xoom, and then NOT be able to remove AND have the problem of it always auto-updating.

If your rooted you can use bloatfreezer. I use it and it works great. Basically it freezes an app so your system thinks its not there. You won't see it anywhere, not your app list or the uninstall list.

I tried it, but my mother-in-law just won't go away.

yea, i had a similar issue, i wanted to get rid of cordy and dungeon defenders on my 3.2 xoom. For some reason it was installed as a 'system app' which basically means that u are restricted from uninstalling it to protect you deleting system files as a mistake.
You just need to root your xoom, download rootUninstaller which allows you to freeze or fully uninstall system apps with one click..

If you root your Xoom you can get rid of the bloatware numerous ways, I personally use root explorer.
