Search for this in market and you can use ps3 remote with bluetooth on Xoom. I have already tried it and I have got it to work successfully with bluetooth.

You will need to use your pc to change the master bluetooth address to match the Xooms. The app will give you the address for the xoom.

Still only basic functions, you need button mapping for more control. There are settings for that but I have not had any success at setting up a home button or much of anything. You get left and right, select goes back, start will start something, and when the keyboard opens all the buttons do various characters. Check it out, its like $1.76, comes out to $2 I believe.

Im starting to figure out this button mapping. I got circle as back and the l1 and r1 buttons as volume. Its some order with setting the key then disconnecting, reconnecting, then changing input method. I'm not sure exactly, I'll let you know.

Can you please explain in detail how you got it work?

Matching up the address was easy, after that was complete failure on my end and the website instructions were too poor to proceed.

Please explain how to get the app and xoom to sync without freezing the XOOM or better yet to sync to play a game at all. I'm really looking forward to the day this actually works/

THIS REQUIRES ROOT

You got your controller all ready to go from pc. You should be able to turn on the controller without it turning on your ps3. Purchase app from market.
.Controller off, start app.
.Touch start button and it will ask you to enable bluetooth and say ok. Bluetooth can already be on, doesn't matter.
.Prompt will say Connection intiated then connection established.
.Then turn on your controller and it says Client Connected 1. When you turn on your controller it shiuld only take 1 to 2 seconds to connect.
.Then you press change input method and set it to sixaxis and done. You go to settings and mess with button mapping.

Enter key is your confirm button, Back key is cancel, and Menu key is for options in apps. Not all the keys work for mapping. I cannot get a home key to work and other ones.

rooted here, but what software are you using? the sixaxis software isn't like this at all.

Anyone have luck. I managed to set some more buttons but still not all of them. Ill send a screenshot of the app when I'm off work.

Hi All,

This prospect has given me all sorts of crazy ideas and hopes, playing Tenchu on the Xoom would be awesome

I do have a couple of questions thou:

I am not currently rooted!!!! i would like to ask if it is possible to use the sixaxis with my unrooted Xoom, if so how?
I would also like to know what are the pros and cons of rooting and if anyone can point me in the right direction for additional info it would be greatly appreciated.
