    Ok... here's what I found.

I re-formatted and checked to verify there was NOTHING on the card. (Even though in my years, I have YET to format something and have something let behind, but I digress...)

This time I put the micro into it's minidisk adapter and into the laptop and synced it to it that way instead of through the Xoom, then placed the micro into the Xoom.

This time I had to wait to put it in, because I needed the Music Player's "memory" to forget about the songs that WERE in there, and once the library went blank (took about 30-45 seconds), I inserted the micro and waited for it to populate. They showed up. However, I synced my playlist with 156 songs, the 156 songs showed up, but not my playlist. But I think I can deal with this.

Because the songs, they actually played. This I can work with from here. Before, I was afraid my Xoom was jacked up. LOL

I think this was the biggest key to what was wrong.

You want to see weird behavior?

I had the card in, and songs were playing... I stopped the song, removed my card, and was waiting for the songs to go away. They didn't.
For grins, I played one, and the song actually played! Even with the card out! (And no music stored internally). I click on the bottom right, where the clock, wifi, battery indicator is, to bring up the song, and pause it. I came up, "Unknown", I stopped it, I go back into Music Player and NOW all the music has disappeared.

Apparently, the application hold some memory for a bit.

Admittedly, I was guilty of that for quite a while until someone pointed it out to me years ago. LOL

Flash drives, externals, cards, you name it... LOL
