    Sound directing?

So i've been lurking around since i got my wifi xoom on launch day, but finally decided to join. anyway, on the the question. i was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to funnel the sound of the speakers over the top to have the sound be directed at the user. i just ordered a tpu case on amazon and when it arrives i want to see what i can do to modify it to do this, but i thought while i wait i'd check to see if anyone else has thought about this or attempted anything similar. Gotta say the xoom hasnt been out of arms reach since i got it, even at work haha. thanks in advanced guys

I agree. This is something I have been interested in too. The perfect case/stand would also encorperate speaker sound piping. Can't wait!

that piping idea incoropration into a case is an excellent idea...I have found that depending on how i hold the case when listening to the xoom, that my palms seem to provide a chanelling effect which help to an extent by channeling the sound around the sides of the unit..

Just to update. I received my tpu case, its not really ideal for this kind of mod. Ill have to find a better case to try this.

I appears to me that the best solution would be to fabricate a replacement shell for the upper back portion of the case which would relocate the speaker ports to the top of the device and probably even relocate the camera to the center while they are at it..Possibly Otterbox can incorporate this speaker issue in the commuter series case they are designing...anyone here with contacts?
