    Messed Up My Xoom. Help

aight, some of you probably know this from the other thread. posting a new one thats more on topic and maybe more users will see and help

    heres where i am

got clockworkmod recovery thing installed, working etc.
downloaded the "xoom-universal-root.zip" and installed it. it said everything installed correctly.
    clicked "Go Back"
    clicked "reboot system now"

then it reboots but gets stuck on the boot screen. keeps doing the animation over and over until i go back into recovery mode.

was android 3.1. its a WIFI only model.

help?! either help me get this thing rooted, or at least back to stock android so its still usable.

or am i completely screwed and out $400.00

Relax homie we can probably fix you up.

First, reboot into recovery by holding volume up and power. When the red moto M appears begin tapping volume down until you see something recovery at which point you want to press volume up.

I always post this for people but try this thread I made. It has a whole bunch of links with info/files/directions and you might find what you need. If you are desperate and want to do this now, you can use the adb guide to restore your xoom too] out of box factory settings (locked and stock)

Any additional info will help me or any other members better assist you

How long did you allow the Xoom to boot before restarting or messing with it? It can take a while sometimes.

EDIT: if I am reading what you wrote in the OP correctly, it looks like you didnt immediately restart into the new recovery after installing it through ADB. You have to immediately boot back into recovery after restarting (using the method I described above) otherwise the old recovery overwrites what you just flashed I believe

Your other thread will be closer to avoid confusion. Please link me to what root method you used and what system are you on?

If I have time I'll also make a video showing exactly what I did.

Been a long day so maybe I just missed something and someone can point out my error.

Ok sounds good. Chances are its a small detail you skipped and its causing the issue.
