im beginning to believe i'm cursed. I installed that but when i selected recovery mode, it rebooted , said it was entering recovery and then i see that android transformer with a yellow exclamation mark in the middle and thats it, just stops there. just rebooted after that using the power and volume key again.
fastboot flash recovery recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img <-- should i just do this stuff first and flash this so it enters recovery mode? or should i just scrap the idea altogether and forego the recovery, going straight to flashing ICS
damn, if only I could remember, I remember the second I received my xoom i came on these forums and there was a video that I followed. the stuff in the first post now i copied from the 'about' section in the settings. I remember I used ADB and some tiamat thingy back then too
i dont however remember if that method involving placing any file on the xoom etc (like in the first post where you place a file on the sd card), what i did was all pretty much from the laptop

haha neat! i'll do that. but what happened to step 1? if after original post-3 the phone is back to being unrooted wont i have to follow step 1 with the universal root before going to step 2 and flashing the CWM and ICS ?
After Post #3 Completed...Skip Post#1. Go Straight to Post#2wont i have to follow step 1 with the universal root before going to step 2 and flashing the CWM and ICS ?
Reason..Post #2 will install CWM Recovery and Jump to Custom ICS (Pre-Rooted OS) so post #1 not needed for you
