im beginning to believe i'm cursed. I installed that but when i selected recovery mode, it rebooted , said it was entering recovery and then i see that android transformer with a yellow exclamation mark in the middle and thats it, just stops there. just rebooted after that using the power and volume key again.

fastboot flash recovery recovery-Tiamat-R4c-100611-1150-cwm.img <-- should i just do this stuff first and flash this so it enters recovery mode? or should i just scrap the idea altogether and forego the recovery, going straight to flashing ICS

Back track to your currently running: "android transformer with a yellow exclamation mark in the middle" is a stock recovery.

What method did you root the Xoom before? I dont think you're using the Universal Xoom root as at the first post?

damn, if only I could remember, I remember the second I received my xoom i came on these forums and there was a video that I followed. the stuff in the first post now i copied from the 'about' section in the settings. I remember I used ADB and some tiamat thingy back then too

i dont however remember if that method involving placing any file on the xoom etc (like in the first post where you place a file on the sd card), what i did was all pretty much from the laptop

Relax..Do you mind to start all over again? It fast and safe!

    First - Return to Original
    This will be your FW

    MZ604 - XOOM with Wi-Fi

    Build H.6.2-24 for Retail Europe
    MD5 Sum: cae470d91a6f6e1473f981bc06f452fd
Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands

    Download >>>Build H.6.2-24 here<<<

Unzip/extract the file and place the contents in the EasyADB/SDK_tools folder:here

Open command prompt in Windows Start icon (in search textfield type in cmd and press enter)
    Once command prompt pop up,type:

    cd C:\SDK_tools
    adb reboot bootloader
    >>>> Xoom will then reboot into bootloader screen
    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
    fastboot erase cache
    fastboot oem lock

Use volume rocker to select ok and then xoom will reboot.

At this point you should be back to a factory state which includes being locked and unrooted.

Once you return to original ...let us know

After Post #3 Completed...You will be Official/Original OS "Out Of The Box"

wont i have to follow step 1 with the universal root before going to step 2 and flashing the CWM and ICS ?
    After Post #3 Completed...Skip Post#1. Go Straight to Post#2

Reason..Post #2 will install CWM Recovery and Jump to Custom ICS (Pre-Rooted OS) so post #1 not needed for you
