    No, you need odin and kies to root a Samsung phone. Look under development here.

    there is something different when trying to return a WIFI only to stock - I had to use the downloads from this thread

    [How To] Return To Stock (Wifi-Only HW169)

    in order to get past the stuck M logo - Steady Hawkin directed me there, said the imgs are different...you may want to make a note on your directions.

    Noted of that, will look on to it and thanks for the update AZ.

    As this thread for general flashing as you could see the method will be the same except the images(May vary which Xoom make and country it belong).

    We will assist members case to case basis depend on where they need assistance.

    It will go up to flashing using RSD/SBF method even there are no RSD/SBF method guide in this thread.

    Thanks again for your great feedback

    Hey guys, I attempted to go through the forum and this thread for the answer to my question but didn't have any luck. I have followed the instructions but once I get to -->Android Recovery I press it and ist starts all the way to Reading ODM Fuse: 1. But it never go past this point. Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum

    When in Android recovery...did you see Robot with exclamation mark? If yes, that the Official stock recovery. You need to flash the tiamat recovery again.

    Give this a try and report back. Press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the xoom starts to reboot, when the screen starts to change start tapping the volume down button until you see android recovery in the upper left of your screen, tap the volume up button to enter the android recovery. Where are you in the root process?

    I tried that several times with no luck. I am trying to do this step "Navigate to "install zip from sdcard"
    -> "Choose zip from sdcard",
    -> then select the Xoom-Universal-Root.zip file that you had downloaded/placed in External MicroSDcard earlier and flash it.
    -> Reboot and Enjoy!"

    I should add that everything up untill this point happened exactly like the post and video showed.
