I dont know if my xoom is 3g or wifi, its MZ604 it has wifi writen on it but there is a umts sim tray, please help

Go to settings, about tablet, what is your build #? Both models have a sim slot.

i hve tried it twice and both times crashed and burn and if it wasnt for the help of new age my device wouldnt be working if ur new to this like i am i wouldnt try this just yet...it seems simple enuff but when the bitch isnt doing whats expected and u cant get back to ur original boot image man it will drive u crazy, i knw cuz i spent all day tryna get mine to work and now that it is im gonna do some more research on this wifi rooting. i hve rooted evo and even tho the steps r lil harder it wasnt this much trouble

well will someone tell me how to do it cuz this method isnt working on my end tried twice and both times had to reboot a recovery image and all that just to get it back to stock and locked. ive unlocked it again but im scared to death to try this method again...onething ive noticed about this way no one is saying usb debugging has to on or off, ive been trying this with it on
