Stuck in "Starting Fastboot Protocol Support" on WiFi Xoom

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong as the only thing I've ever rooted was my Droid X. I'm comfortable SBFing it, installing custom ROMs, etc. and figured the Xoom wouldn't be too hard but I'm kinda lost at this point.

I downloaded the one-click root files, have the Xoom in USB debugging mode and follow the steps that it prompts on the screen then I get hung up un the Dual Core screen with "Starting Fastboot protocol support" at the top. Any help would be appreciated but please talk to me like you'd talk to a four year old. Hahahaha.

I was staring at the Xoom instead of my computer and wasn't seeing that I needed to click "next." I told you...I'm an idiot. It is a pretty foolproof process that isn't at all as intimidating as it seems...as long as you pay attention. Haha. Thanks guys.

I had to laugh reading this.... I rooted mine yesterday and had a very tense few minutes as I stared at that message on the xoom's screen waiting for it to do something! I felt somewhat less than smart when I finally looked at my PC screen... Oh well.

Exactly. I'm comfortable as hell doing anything to my Droid X but for some reason I was intimidated by this. Hahahaha.
