Error with Titanium Backup Pro after Rooting

    Hello,

I just did my first Root and installed the Tiamat 1.4.2 Kernel on my 3.1 3G Xoom. I Then installed Titanium Backup Pro and upon opening the application, I get the folowing erro message.
"Sorry, I could not acquire root privileges. This application will NOT work. Please verify ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox and try again."
What am I doing wrong? I installed BusyBox, but I don't know what it is or does. Can you guys please help? I know that I am rooted, because I ran the SU command from Terminal Emulator and my Xoom also says that it is 3.1 with the Tiamat Kernel in the Settings/About.

    Thanks

Try clearing data for Titanium (settings, apps, manage, click on titanium, press clear data) then uninstall and reinstall it.

Steady, you have time and time again proven to be a genius, however unless I am missing a step, I did as you suggested above and still receive the same error. Can you provide any other ideas please?

You can also try to click the "problems" button on TiBu and download that version of busybox. If not, try busybox installer in the Android market.

Have you tried going into the su app, clicking forget on titanium. Then restarting titanium?

Yes. Forget the app in SU and then open TiBU. If it does the same thing then use the fix problems option so it can install another version of busybox.

I had the same problem and had to install Busybox version 1.18.4, uninstall Titanium, reinstall it and then everything showed up. I had Busybox 1.19 and it didn't play well with that version

Busybox 1.19 works with TiBu here. I think sometimes it just doesn't install properly, and a manual re-installation is required
