    Put root 3.2 rom on xoom wifi tether doesnt work

    You're trying to tether your Xoom to your phone? And use your data from your phone?
    What phone are you on, and is it rooted?

    Correct original Droid. It works with wifi tether adhoc in rooted 3.1 but not 3.2 ...

    Sorry I'm just now getting back to this'll never got a notification it was replied to... did you get it working?

    I'm not on 3.2 right now, but have you tried doing a Bluetooth tether to your Xoom from your OGdroid? Also, which app to tether are you using? I use the banned "Wireless Tether", had it on the Droid and now on the tbolt, both adhoc and BT are able to tether (even when I was 3.2)

    Nope still no luck I am able to do both wifi and Bluetooth on 3.1 and neither on 3.2? so went back to 3.1 for now

    Had this issue on my xoom. Jusst got it on Woot! and updated to 3.2 and rooted on day one. I use a DX, 2.3, rooted and wanted to do the same. I tried to do this with wifi tether but had issues. I found a site here and downloaded this along with the TBH DX tether patch to my phone. Used clockwork recovery to install the zip of the patch and just used the installer for the apk. Now I can adhoc on my wifi only XOOM while at lunch.

    Remember, rooted phone, but I think you do'nt need to root the Xoom if you don't want.

    try using barnacle and check skip wpa supplicant in the barnacle settings. i am running the same setupp as you are...rooted og droid with stock rooted 3.2 wifi xoom and this worked for me.
