I've got a Verizon 4G XOOM running on 3.2.6. When I got to Step 3 and entered "fastboot oem unlock" my XOOM rebooted automatically before I ran the fastboot command. Now, I cannot get the "adb devices" command to recognize my XOOM. Any suggestions?
Another Xoom successfully rooted thanks to this thread! I have never rooted before, but I was sick of waiting for Verizon to push out ICS to my 3G Xoom. It took me 3-hours and had a few hiccups along the way, but now I've got 4.0.4 up and running. I can't believe my Xoom is more up to date than my GNex.Thanks everyone.
Hi, new to rooting. I've had my device for a year and I just decided to convert by Canadian Xoom to a US GED. I'm enjoying ICS right now.
My question is will rooting erase the contents of my device?
